The Ferg is steps away from the bustling Main Street of Picton, Ontario, where you can grab a delicious latte, healthy baked goods, and high-fashion finds. Fantastic restaurants, pubs featuring live music and local craft beer, an indie bookstore and artists’ galleries are just some of what you will find a stone's throw from our backyard.

Centrally located in the main town of Picton, wine country is 20 minutes away by car in all directions. Stock up on Prince Edward County’s famous Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling. Make a family dinner in our fully renovated chef’s kitchens with “County Bounty”  from the farm stands and markets in the area (and please make use of our kitchen garden in the summer months).  

The famous beaches of Prince Edward County and the stunning dunes of Sandbanks Provincial Park are a fifteen minute drive away and we offer you beach towels and a beach bag to make the most of your time by the lake. 

Please note: all three suites at The Ferg are fully self-contained, with their own kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms and bathrooms, private decks, bbqs and plenty of garden space to share on our rolling property. The door between the Main House Suite and The Loft opens up so you can enjoy a multi-family gathering, while still enjoying your own privacy. You can rent out one, two or all three suites at The Ferg. The One Bedroom Suite does not have a connecting door and can be reached through the courtyard.
